On Thursday, November 10th we held a sustainable fashion show at the Donald W. Reynolds Community Center & Library. This show consisted of an educational presentation given by the Durant Middle School Green Team members. Then, it showcased clothes that did not contribute to fast fashion. Whether the attire was made from upcycled materials or bought secondhand, they were all more sustainable than if they would have been if they had been purchased newly. There were also tables displaying sustainably made crafts. In attendance, there were around 100 people.
