Durant Middle School Prairie Update

Howdy folks, just wanted to share a couple of pictures of our prairie at the middle school.. We started working on it over a year ago, as part of our green school class activities. The original plan focused on goldenrod and aster, but we ended up including a variety of native plants and even some good 'ol garden peas here and there to cover and fertilize the soil. The prairie is approximately 40' x 5' and is located between the school building and the northeast parking lot.
